QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 2 ~~ NONE ~~ What environment hosts your web applications? Most of our applications are developed to run on LAMP (Linux, Appache, MySQL and PHP) environment. Some of our applications are currently ported to Adobe AIR, which will give them the functionality of a desktop application (developed with proven web development technology). 3 ~~ NONE ~~ How long does it ususaly take to develop a custom system? This all depends on what the system has to do. We analyze the requirements/needs and then we propose a solution. Once approved we start developing the solution and give you access to a temporary location where you can view the progress and be part of the development process. Then we will test the system with real data and fix/change as required. After that the implementation of the system into your business process is the final step. 4 ~~ NONE ~~ How long does it take to design/develop a web site? It all depends on the features you need implemented into your web site. But to give you an idea of how long a "standard" web site takes to develpe, here is the process we go through. One to two days design of the site, one day convert the design snapshot into a template, one day to incorporate the CMS (Content Management System) into the site and one day to setup the site structure and custom styling. To summarize, it takes about one week (40 hours) to develop a web site. 5 ~~ NONE ~~ Do you do internet maketing? Not at the moment. We are looking into proving this service reliably and predictably, meaning that we can guaranty the results. Until we fine-tune the process, we will not offer this service. If you are interested in this service please let us know and we will try our best to accomodate your needs. 6 ~~ NONE ~~ Do you do networking? No, we don't. We specialize in information management, but we do not install or repair the required hardware, but we will recommend certain environments to reliably host the systems we develop. |
NEWS 3 Saturday, February 21st, 2009 mySoccerOffice Improvements mySoccerOffice has been adapted for youth soccer management. Also the web site managemnt module has been replace with our latest Content Management System, to offer greater flexibility. 2 Saturday, December 13th, 2008 LMS - More Progress We have made substantial improvements to the LMS system and we improved the process of getting Online Courses built. We will soon have some sample courses to play with for demo purposes. |
