Learning Management System

The Learning Management System (LMS) is an innovative web-application which speeds up and simplifies the management and delivery of online courses and testing.  Through its administration interface you can easily create courses and tests and manage your students and content.  The student site allows each student to keep track of the courses they're currently taking or have taken in the past and provides a clean, simple interface through which courses and tests are delivered.

LMS Administration Interface

The administration interface is the part of the site through which you and your staff manage all aspects of the Learning Management System.

  • Individuals Module – Allows administration staff to keep track of all details about students and the companies they are employed by.
  • Courses Module – Efficiently manage all the courses and the chapters, lessons and tests they are made up of. A tree-view of each course provides an intuitive interface and an easy way to get a clear picture of the whole course.  A flexible course-building system allows for both chapter tests and course tests - all of which can take advantage of random question sets.
  • Website Module – Integrating our powerful website content management system, the LMS systemenables you and your staff to easily update your website with news, comments, FAQs and any other custom content you may want.  No knowledge of HTML, CSS, FTP or other web technologies is required to use the Web CMS.
  • Files Module – A built in files module allows you to upload and manage files needed for your courses (such as diagrams or Flash lessons) directly through your browser, eliminating the need for 3rd party FTP software.
  • Users Module – A secure user access control system allows you to organize staff accounts into separate groups and control access to each part of the system either globally, per group or per user account.

Student Site

Students interact with the LMS through individual, private sites where they can access relevant information about their course registrations as well as course content and tests.

  • Courses - Courses are delivered through a simple, easy to understand and use interface, allowing your students to focus on learning the course content, not how to navigate it.  The system keeps students from skipping-ahead, but allows them to review previous material.  Tests can be re-taken and correctly answered questions are not reused in order to maintain the standard of difficulty.  Lessons can be made up of text and images, or can be in Flash format.
  • Profile – Each student has the ability to view and edit their personal data.
  • Certificates - Students can access and view certificates they have obtained by completing courses.

"... this application incorporates everything that we do and more."

The Edmonton and District Soccer Association needed a web-based solution to integrate all of our business processes.  We looked at other sport management applications and found them all lacking in some area.  After discussing our needs with Compu-Creations, they were able to develop the perfect tool for our organization.  From on-line registration to scheduling to newsletters and web site management, this application [mySoccerOffice] incorporates everything that we do and more.  Compu-Creations saved our organization an incredible amount of time and effort and allowed us to provide a better soccer experience to our members.
